The MPM-100 Multi-Pigment Meter is a versatile, handheld device specifically designed for rapid, precise measurement of multiple plant pigments including chlorophyll, anthocyanin, flavonol, and the Nitrogen-Flavonol Index (NFI).

Utilizing a combination of fluorescence and transmittance technologies, the MPM-100 delivers reliable results across various plant types, significantly aiding in agricultural management, ecological studies, and research applications.

How it works

The MPM-100 measures pigment content through dual methods — fluorescence and transmittance.

  • Fluorescence: Measured by exciting specific pigments at defined wavelengths and detecting emitted light.
  • Transmittance: Chlorophyll content is measured using transmittance at red and infrared wavelengths.

User-defined formulas calculate precise pigment concentrations, ensuring flexibility and accuracy for a variety of samples and research objectives.

Versions available

Standard MPM-100 (CCI)

The standard MPM-100 measures chlorophyll content in Chlorophyll Content Index (CCI) units, along with anthocyanin content, flavonol content, and Nitrogen Flavonol Index (NFI).

MPM-100/S (SPAD)

The MPM-100/S offers chlorophyll measurements equivalent to the SPAD-502 meter.
