ACM-200plus Anthocyanin Meter

The ACM-200plus anthocyanin meter provides simple, fast and accurate estimation of anthocyanin content on intact leaves.

The non-destructive technique allows researchers to monitor anthocyanin without the costly and time consuming extraction, typically involving liquefied nitrogen and acidified Methanol, and then the analysis of the resulting sample with UV-visible spectroscopy. With the ACM-200plus, the sample is placed in the cuvette and 2 seconds later the ACI reading is displayed on the meter and stored in the large internal memory. Repeated measurements of the same sample can be made over the course of the growing season.

By measuring the energy absorbed in two specific wavebands the ACM-200plus can accurately estimate the Anthocyanin content of leaves, petals, fruit/berry skin and similar plant tissue.

The ACM-200plus employs new precision LED technology for enhanced accuracy and repeatability, and the large measuring area helps negate spatial variability in the sample.
